I think like many others that there is a time loop, each time Jack gets to the island he has the chance to do the right thing, which is not calling the boat……I think that the show will end the way it began, with Jack on the ground he will run into Kate and it will start all over again.
I also think that everything centers around Jack for some reason……It also seems like he remembers that he’s been to the island AFTER he gets home and AFTER he has screwed up. I know there is alot of holes in this but I still think it will end with the plane crashing.

so in this theory of yours does jack have any memory of having been to the island before? if so, why doesn’t he just NOT call it the next time he rocks up there?
plus we’ve seen jack after getting off the island, when he’s all bearded & suicidal. what makes you think he loops back to island-time? is it intentional? does he have a choice?
i’ve never been a fan of this time loop theory.
Welcome, shoegirl. I can’t say I’m a big fan of time loop theories, not that they can’t be right, but I just can’t buy into them.
Now shoes, that’s a different matter altogether! I love your name!

My prediction is that the finale will center on Jack (as you suggest) and we will find out who “Adam and Eve” are and how they ended up in the cave.
