Annie, If you are talking about the promo with the Everything you need to know about Lost in 8min.&10sec, then I have seen it, & I don’t think any loyal fans like us will think much of it.. It is way too over-simplified to me, for such a complex show.I guess it could serve as a recap though, for anyone new that wants to take a shortcut,and not watch all 3 seasons.

If we’re speaking of flashbacks revealing who had been there– Well, I’m going to say Desmond and/or Bernard. Bernard because he would willingly work with the others to keep the freighter from coming, once he found out about Rose’s cancer. Desmond (not necessarily as a known visitor) to get info, it’s possible he might have discovered the freighters existence, and believing it to be Penny, set up taking out the listening station.

For someone we haven’t seen anywhere in a long time, I’m going to guess Hurley’s dad, just because I don’t see how the writers could pass up an opportunity to get Cheech back on the show.

I think that it could possibly be Arzt, we know he came back to do one of the mobisodes.

I was talking about the 8minute recap and I thought it was pathetic and very poorly done. The girl*s voice sounded like she was doing comedy. I think Lost deserved better from ABC than that.

Well, I haven’t noticed him/her lately, but then I wasn’t paying a lot of attention. The last I remember was back during all the name-copying, I believe s/he came on to say it was NOT them who was saying various things after someone had copied their name. Sort of stands out in the mind. But otherwise, I couldn’t say. Lots of people drop off for a while until the new shows start, so could be that.

The reason I am asking is that s/he has had a theory with a rating of 71 votes & plus 45 that sits in the debunked & trollish section??? Seems wrong to me that such a highly rated theory should suffer that fate.There may be a lot of persons that miss seeing it because of it. The theory I am refering to is”Where on Earth is the Island?-created Aug.3,2007 My understanding of it is that if the person that created it edits,it will put it where it should be. I noticed that someone did come across it on Dec.16th & gave it a good marks. I also commented after that, but it seems doomed to stay where it is unless the author updates it.

I’ve seen that theory and also thought it should not be over in the debunked section. But I think it would be a pain for someone to have to move it back every time someone commented on it. It would be great if there was an “un-debunk” flag that took X number of votes to put it back on the main board, then it might go back and forth as it’s flagged and unflagged, but the majority would always rule either way.

And you’re right, I had missed it for a long time because of where it was sitting.

I guess I am probably a little too idealistic ,nosy, or maybe a little of both ,for my own good. I was reading the last comment that this person put on that particular post again,& it sounded to me like they were possibly going to give up.Posters like this one ,that seem to have a lot of good ideas are what makes this site so great. Anyway that is my opinion.

I don’t know any more than oz does about youknowthename and I agree there should be a way to get theories out of debunked, etc with a certain amount of votes, for when the trolls troll.

One other thing,then I will shut-up about it,what you said about having another flag is just what is needed. The way it stands now there just isn’t one.

CPB, You bring up a very good point, which has something to do with some of the people we have seen “killed”.

I believe this is what is being referenced, and that some of the people we presumed to be dead, are in fact, very much alive!

I’ll second that., Goodwin is alive. That was not his body they found, not unless he got up and walked away and died again. Goodwin took one of those old bodies and put his clothes on it. Maybe Yemi’s body? or one from the pit.
