Are the ‘jungle whispers’ from a sort-of camera crew, similar to the whispers in the Orchid Video?

When I first listened to the Orchid Video, I was like, all right! More whispers! But then I realized that it was just the video crew in the background and the whispers sounded like regular background noise like what you would hear in a restaurant.

That got me thinking about the actual jungle/weird whispers. Are the Orchid whispers a clue to what these whispers are all about? I haven’t found any theories on this and the fuselage doesn’t have this whisper transcript. Some people on this site have heard the word ‘genitalia’ whereas others have heard the word ‘murder’. Some people think the whispers in this video are in Russian. I think it’s too hard to tell without specific audio equipment. Anyone have any comments on this. i love the whispers!

    when we see the Losties on the Island, I get the feeling that the whispers are from people in a “almost the same timeline”…maybe their own whispers…dunno….to much questions…:(

    Who knows what the whispers are?! They are very intriguing. What I do think is that even if the orchid video is just for fans, the whispers wouldn’t have been left in as a production error. I think the Lost guys are too smart for this now.

    I like your idea that it could be a clue.

    In the still shots of the room 23 video, one of the pictures is actually of a sound studio.Seemed a bit odd to me. +1 from me talksinhersleep : )

    talksinhersleep: Welcome aboard! Some good observations and questions in your first theory. I too am very interested in the whispers.
