As if the island was warning him of some Karmic return.

— cilcost

I had previously taught that the whispers that Sawyer hears in Series one, we’re the only whispers we could/I could hear. Looking hear “Gill” has translated a lot. Be true or not I dont know.

But I ask you to consider this, from what we know of that particualr episode, and over the series how that particular storyline played out.

In that episode we see Sawyer’s flashback, with him intent on killing the man responsible for the death of his family. It would be OK to assume while watching, that he would succed. However, as it unfolds, we discover that he has just killed the wrong man, uttering his last words of life with “It will come back around”. This is what we all know the jungle whispers to have said to saywer also. As if the island was warning him of some Karmic return. That he will be punished for those sins.Perhaps.

I ask you to consider however, from how the storyline unfolded this year, that it was not a karmic suggestion but the island actually telling Sawyer that he will get another chance to kill this man, that this oppertunity will in a sense ” Come back Around”…

I never really thought of it that way cilcost.

I assumed it to be a warning to Sawyer rather than another chance at revenge.

Nice and innovative. A very rare plus 1 from me. :)

It could be something, but at the moment, I cant pin anything else to bulk it up to be a major player to the overall picture of lost? Maybe someone else spotted something like this.

I like it… I’ve always looked at it as a threat, not a promise! +1
