n the name of love: Kate was still on the lam for killing her stepfather, when she met Cassidy, Sawyer’s old mark. Cassidy employed the old jewelry con, but it didn’t work out. In an effort to keep the cops away, Kate lent her a hand. Cassidy returned the favor, and got Kate a meeting with her mom. Desperate to know why her mom turned her in to the feds, Kate got her answer: Her mom didn’t appreciate her killing the man she loved, and even though he was jerk, “you can’t help who you love.”
One of them: Locke paid Kate a quick visit to say his farewells. Apparently he was promoted to honorary Other and ready to relocate with them. Kate was sure he was brainwashed, but he explained that he stuck up for Kate, telling the Ben and company that she was a good person. He solemnly added, “Then they told me who you were and what you’d done.”
Rumble: Before hitting the road, the Others gassed their captives. Later Kate awoke in the jungle, handcuffed to Juliet. The two got physical, in a fight that had more to do with Jack-jealousy than anything else. Their presence stirred the resident smoke monster, but Juliet saved the day. She removed the handcuffs (she had the key all along) and activated one of the security pylons. Evidently Ol’ Smokey didn’t like that.
Leadership material: Hurley tried a con of his own on the master, telling Sawyer to straighten up his act or face a banishment vote. Though loath to admit he needed anyone, Sawyer became a reluctant model citizen in order to stay. Before long he was even enjoying his good deeds. In the end, Hurley divulged his true intention: with Jack, Kate, Locke and Sayid out of commission, Sawyer was next in line for Camp Leader. Back to the beach: After their adventure through the jungle, Kate and Juliet went to the camp to rescue Jack and Sayid. Back on his feet, Jack led the hike home. When Juliet tagged along, Sayid protested, but Jack wouldn’t hear it. Juliet was left behind by the Others, so she was with them now.

Sorry if I bothered someone with my theory. I just took this website too literally (“We’re all about LOST speculation”,”Whether you’ve got some minor speculation about a particular character or a full-blown LOST theory”). Maybe people come here to reinvent the wheel.
